Bbrr...it's getting cold

It was so cold last Sunday morning that our pipes were frozen. When I checked the temperature at 7:00am it was only -5.6 deg c, and its not even winter yet. They didn't unfreeze until 10am and I had to wait patiently to start the washing machine. Last year our pipes only froze twice and that was in the middle of winter! I think we are in for a cold one.

I am getting worried as we have booked our spot at the Braidwood Markets on the 28th May and being outdoors, I think we are going to freeze!

Wish us luck and a sunny day :)

Hi guys, the weather is crazy isn't it. As long as it doesn't rain I think we will be fine. Off to price and pack some more goodies, T

Hope the sun shines for you Tam. I don't mind a cold Winter as long as it doesn't drag on too long. I noted the early snow falls this year and thought it's gonna be a cold one.

I.m amazed at the weather....never knew it could be like that in Australia.
We used to have an end of October outdoor show called the 'bring your mittens show', just referred to as 'the mittens'.....it was always fun.

Geez Tam, that IS cold even by our Victorian standards. My daughter is in Newcastle and she's been complaining for weeks about the cold and even bought a heater. Yeh.. lets hope there's some improvement for your trip to the markets next week, on the up side it could turn into a weekend at the snow.....

Gosh Tamara - that is cold. At least the pipes are outside and not in the ceilings like in the UK. Last year we ended up renovating a home there because of frozen pipes in the loft, then subsequent flooding. And we thought we were going for a holiday!!
