Mirror Mirror on the Wall

Remember when I said I was off to tackle the shed, well we didn't get too far but I did remember an old mirror, that I bought way back when for a tuppence, and persuaded Carl to drag it out. It was way in the back and he was complaining that he was probably bitten by 100 red back spiders, but don't worry he wasn't. I call him "jazz hands" because he is so dramatic..hehehe

I decided to mix up the mantle piece and replaced the picture you can see in the bottom of the post. We have fixed it to the picture rail so that it is secure and had the kids jump up and down on the spot for a few minutes to make sure it was not going to fall down. It weighs a tonne.

It is very old and has lost loads of the silver but I like it that way. You can click on the photos to see a larger view.

The before:

I'm off to have a rest now, we have started an intensive exercise and better eating plan. I want to drop some weight and get fitter before our trip. Every muscle is aching, especially my thighs when I sit down. Carl has been laughing at me when we work out because my he says my face looks like he feels. Also I am very noisy. Lucky we don't live too close to our neighbours because somebody would ring the police thinking that we were being murdered!

I will be back in the next few days to show you what I bought on our trip to Goulburn last week. You see! This is why I need to sell a few things, I keep accumulating more :)

Have a great night.
