Devils on horseback-jusy saying the name makes my skin crawl! What a sterling effort and the period accessories are just fab!

Donna Hayes eat your heart out! YOU get the retro stylin ward Tam! Your retro spread looks delicious, not a hint of a gag reflex coming from this end (ummm, that doesn't sound very nice, does it?) and your 'props' rock.

Thanks so much for being a part of this Tam. For the first time today I'm hungry x

She is a food stylist for sure! Actually, I swear my mouth started watering and the pineapple ham cheese sandwich. Really sounds delish. All you touches in the pictures are great. Nice jello squares.

"at" the pineapple ham. So many recipes to comment about. So little time.

This whole meal actually looks really edible, which is a nice surprise as I jump around the Retro links! I *love* Devils on Horseback. And all food should have jelly cubes with it! Gorgeous.

What a delicious post......I love the old cookbooks and pictures!

You have some pretty exotic recipes there. My idea on retro pineapple is a grapefruit hedgehog spined with pineapple and cheese cubes.

Love the flamingo picks, but as for the food ... not quite so sure! Great fun!

This has been such a fun challenge - yours all look pretty tasty, although I think I'd give the bananas a miss. The toasted sandwich looks pretty great though. And I love the flamingos!
