Canberra Swap Meet '10 and Tarago Carboot Sale

It was raining Sunday morning, so instead of getting up and heading to the Canberra Swap Meet early, we left at a more reasonable hour at around 10am. There was only a handful of stores outside because of the weather and the usual indoor vendors.

As I didn't have anywhere to hold money, Mr T was to stand close by, but every time that I turned to talk to him he was standing off somewhere else...typical!! He was also holding onto the money quite tightly this morning, lucky there was only slim pickings.

I bought this vintage bridal headpiece and veil, sprinkled with small silver bells. It still has a little tuft of blonde hair attached.

I was on the lookout for some ephemera today so was happy to pickup a couple of these card signs.

Saturday morning we made a fleeting trip to the Tarago Car Boot sale before heading back into Canberra for a kids party. It was a little smaller this year, but with free sausage sandbos (yes free!) and free face painting, its a good morning out. I spent a whopping $8: a Japanese egg cup, vintage jewellery casket and cake plate.

O.k, now my left hand is killing me from typing, I'll be off, bye. Have a great week!! A big hello to all my followers, new and old :)
