I ordered some flamingos a while back on ebay. They arrived this morning, so I have been playing around with them in the garden. They are remoulded from the featherstone originals.
And just because it is nearly Halloween (though we do not celebrate it here), I have included a photo of our brain plants. Don't they look like velvet brains but much prettier.
It is so windy here, Mary Poppins would not be able to keep two feet on the ground! Random checks are in order to make sure the flamingos haven't flown the coop.
Thanks for taking the time to pop over and support my facebook page, I truly appreciate it. I am a facebook Gumby so please be patient :)
Bye for now.....Pokey away!!!!! Tam x

Oh Gumby always brings a smile to my face! LOVE your flamingos....they look fab. And those brain flowers are amazing. Can't say I've ever seen flowers like that before. Xx
Awesome post...lovin' the flamingoes, they almost need concrete "boots" to stop them flying the coop... hehe!! Love the brain flowers too.
Ooh aren't they fab those flamingoes!! love them amidst your ajuga x0x0x
They're stronger than they look Tam. I know they are a bit wobbly on their legs but I think they are designed that way to move with the wind etc rather than against it. Mine have with stood all sorts of crazy weather action.
I want some Brain Plants too, what's their proper name or do I just ask for a Brain Plant? also what's Ajuga when it's not being all flash and fancy?
Parcel finally posted - sorry for dawdling x (Not sure if that's the correct spelling?)

The flamingoes are gorgeous, hope you live in a nice neighbourhood.Love your bugle plants too. Celosia is the name of your brain plant.
Those brain plants are very strange looking, although the colours are lovely and vibrant!
