Vintage + Stamps + Jigsaw = Earrings

You know that I love all things stamps, so when I saw the vintage stamp jigsaw pieces I had to buy them. I've paired like pieces together to make earrings. They have been given a clear coat of varnish to protect the cardboard, attached to an earring bail and hung from a simple silverplated hook.

Over the weekend they will be heading to my madeit and etsy stores and will be available at the Braidwood Makers Markets in September. Be sure to check my facebook page* for all updates on my stamp jewellery. I may be having a giveaway soon, so check back often :)

Enjoy your weekend, thanks for stopping by, Tam x

 * If its not too much to ask, I'd like some feedback on my facebook page. For those who were once 'likers' and are no longer, could you please tell me what made you leave? No need to be embarrassed, it will help me make the page and posts better. Sincere thanks, Tamara

What have you been buying lately?

I must admit that I have not been op-shopping, tip hunting, or buying a lot of vintage lately. Using my checklist really helps, but I do seem to be buying more selected pieces online. I thought you might like to see what I have been buying lately.

Can you believe the weekend is nearly upon us? Boy, this year is whizzing by. Thanks for stopping by, til next time, take care, Tam x

Quick and Easy Polish Jewellery

Hope you have had a relaxing Easter with lots of yummy eggs.

In between eggs, India and I have been whipping up a few quick glittery jewellery pieces. Its a great way to use up left-over nail polish or grab a few bottles on sale. Just cover some glass cabochon backs with the polish, let dry and attach a bail or set into a pendant or ring. Easy peasy. (As you can see, I like the purple and blue combinations.)

Thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your new week whatever you have planned, Tam x
