Junking Makeover: Ring Totem
I was looking for something to store my rings and had a quick rummage around the house to see what I could use. The wooden spool/bobbin I had sitting next to my vintage sewing machine in the hall, it was perfect as it is tapered at one end. It wouldn't stand by itself so I had a quick look around to see what I could use as a base. I collect bits and pieces that I find interesting, the metal grinder blade thingme I picked up at the local junk sale. I previously used it as a pedestal for candles and little figurines. I blu-tacked the two pieces together so that they can be reused later, and voila. A perfect place to store my rings.
Happy crafting :)
