A breath of fresh air: views from our garden Part 1
It's such a beautiful day here today, I thought that I would share a couple of shots of our garden. This is our windmill, Mr T is going to take some shots for you later on from the platform...when its not windy that is :)
This is our latest project, our new herb garden. The old cement wash tub was sooo heavy, we raised it up and placed on the original legs. The old gate came from Goulburn NSW.
This is Tinkies house that I built from a book case, reclaimed panelling from our kitchen, balustrades, a piece if corrugated roofing iron and a little brick step. It also has pressed metal on the sides. The only time he goes in is when it is raining.**Tinkie is an Australian Terrier or should I say Terror tee hee***
Vintage Carnival Ride Horse hanging for our Walnut tree (never had a Walnut because the Cockatoos eat them before we get the chance)
Little bits and pieces around the greenhouse, ignore the ugly Colorbond fence in the background.
Hat block made into a chess piece
I spent hours weaving branches from a climbing rose over an old cast iron bed head, never again!
A wooden rocking horse salvaged from my brothers house demolished in the tornado that hit Merimbula NSW in '95
Hope you are enjoying your garden too!
