Woohoo!! You have outdone yourself Tamara!! A 3 course retro meal! Great pictures. (Love your teapot!)I love it all. The Coconut Bananas look really YUM! And the pink flamingo sticks are so cool. Thanks so much for taking part. xx
The coconut bananas look so gooooood...and the flamingo picks were genius.
Devils on horseback-jusy saying the name makes my skin crawl! What a sterling effort and the period accessories are just fab!
Donna Hayes eat your heart out! YOU get the retro stylin ward Tam! Your retro spread looks delicious, not a hint of a gag reflex coming from this end (ummm, that doesn't sound very nice, does it?) and your 'props' rock.
Thanks so much for being a part of this Tam. For the first time today I'm hungry x
She is a food stylist for sure! Actually, I swear my mouth started watering and the pineapple ham cheese sandwich. Really sounds delish. All you touches in the pictures are great. Nice jello squares.
"at" the pineapple ham. So many recipes to comment about. So little time.
a pink flamingo works everytime!!...divert the eye!...confuse the senses!
looks too pretty not to be yummy.
allison x
This whole meal actually looks really edible, which is a nice surprise as I jump around the Retro links! I *love* Devils on Horseback. And all food should have jelly cubes with it! Gorgeous.
I want Pink Flamingo's to decorate my desserts from now on, great work! :)
Brilliant dishes, loving the hawaiian sandwich and I must admitt the bananas look really yummy! Retro-tastic contribution.

What a delicious post......I love the old cookbooks and pictures!
You have some pretty exotic recipes there. My idea on retro pineapple is a grapefruit hedgehog spined with pineapple and cheese cubes.
Love the flamingo picks, but as for the food ... not quite so sure! Great fun!

This has been such a fun challenge - yours all look pretty tasty, although I think I'd give the bananas a miss. The toasted sandwich looks pretty great though. And I love the flamingos!

disappointed to not see the tinned asparagus wrapped in white bread, but that Hawaiian delight made up for it!!
Love your cute display in the first pic and those bananas look fab!
Oh my, you've gone retro bonkers for sure. The jellied cubes are a mental touch. Love the flamingos. Well done you!!
