Treasure Tuesday

Well I made it through the first day back at work, blimey it was yuck. I am already planning the Christmas holidays :)

As I type the Mr is flying to Queenstown, New Zealand, for a conference. The kids and I are all alone until Sunday, I already feel pooped! Hopefully he will take a few photos.

I did go out at lunchtime today to the tip shop and came home with an armful more.....

I've added a few new medals to my mannequin, the theme is red white and blue
A Huntley & Palmers rose biscuit tin from Trash and Treasure
French Fries phone, and it works! The kids have already tested it out...

Swan oil painting
We have adopted a Grandfather..isn't it sad when you find an old photo thrown away
Vintage ledger

Wooden office organiser

1930's yacht mirror

Vintage gilded ceramic thermometer
Vintage Jakas bear, wine cooler, kitsch plastic jewellery box, vintage ceramic Snuffleupagus
Crazy 2 half coffee cups
Could you imagine having these as your bridal flowers...so 80's!

O.k. I had better get these kids to bed!!!! Back with more soon. Enjoy your week, T x

Wow, what an awesome lot there Tam,love the bickie tin and the yacht mirror in particular.About the grandfather pic-I once saw a handpainted portrait of a small child in an opshop. How could someone part with that? Hubby wasn't too keen for work on Monday morn either and I've found all those missing dishes!

I had to do a double take when I saw that fries phone. That is SO cool. I can't believe you find such good stuff at the tip shop. I love the yacht mirror too & the wooden organiser. I always feel sad too when I see old photos of people, but I guess there maybe no one to leave them to. I hope the week passes quickly without your Mr. I'm sure he'll LOVE Queenstown. Xx

Your red white and blue theme has a decidedly British feel with the bulldog portrait on the wall.
