I bought a little piece of meteorite at work for the kids. Apparently it is 4 billion years old. My work colleague was quite skeptical saying that it would cost well over $20,000 to buy a piece that size to analyse in the lab. I either got a great bargain or a cheap fake. I was willing to take the chance even though they didn't like the coprolite (dinosaur poo!) I bought them.
Penny press coins stamped around England sit in a little tin to bring back happy memories.
Little teeth, kindly left behind by the Tooth Fairy and safely dropped into little jars.
Wishes to all that pass this way, hello to new followers, old friends and new ones. May your weeks be well and your weekends even better! Bye for now, Tam x

I feel like I haven't seen a post from you for ages! Love the cabinet & the creepy decorations. I must admit I still have my teeth tucked away somewhere too! I hope you have a lovely weekend too. xx
I love curios. I love the word c-u-r-i-o-s! I love saying it! It's great that you're collecting such weird and wonderful things for your kids. A young imagination is priceless and needs to be fed xxx
What a perfect little cupboard for your (awesome) treasures Tam. I've got a little pink kiddies kitchenette I'm saving for the same purpose just got to find space for it.
I have just had a brain wave. Literally, as I was typing! It would be perfect for my Ladybirds-I can't fit anymore on the little white bookshelf. Thanks Tam, it's down to you, I'll get it out of the shed tomorrow after work. Yay!

Have you seen Jan Svankmajer's "Alice"? You cabinet looks like it coud've been lifted straight from it. I'd love a proper cabinet of curios - and a taxidermy duckling!
Hi Tam!! How are you? Actually I just threw out all the kids saved baby teeth..I think they all got mixed in together somewhere along the line & they certainly didn't want them back so..Love the shape of the jars yours are in. What a fascinating collection of curios. Can't imagine why they didn't love the coprolite ; )
I love your little curio cupboard. It's the sort of thing that you can't walk past without stopping and having a little look and a pick up. I've kept all little man's teeth too and my dad still has mine! M x
