Collections: Vintage Chocolate Boxes
I have a thing for chocolate boxes, all sorts, and especially if they still have chocolates inside...hee hee, but my favourite are the ones with ladies on them. Here are a few that I have dotted around our home (mostly in our bedroom).

Garden Lovelies
Its such a lovely day today, a total contrast to freezing cold of the past 2 weeks. With Spring just around the corner, we have been clearing out the old weeds and preparing the garden for some new flowers.
Last year I was able to start my little cottage garden in the front of our house, having build a small fence to banish Tinkie from stomping down all the plants as he happily roams the perimeter yapping at passers by.
Hope you are enjoying the weekend too, T

A Golden Ticket?
My favourite movie growing up was 'Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory', 1971 with Gene Wilder. The lickable wallpaper for the nursery walls was so cool and of course the Chocolate Room was truly unbelievable..and how exciting would it be to find a golden ticket? Right? When we visited the lolly shop last Saturday morning, look what I found!...a real 'Scrumdiddlyumptious' chocolate bar, with a chance to win a GOLDEN Ticket!
.....with all entries to be claimed by the 20th September 2010 was this a sign? This date just happens to be my birthday!! Lets open and see:
Just a little bit.....
...a little more.....
Damn it! No golden ticket :( Looks like I will have to keep saving my pennies for our trip next year...:)
p.s. The chocolate bar was pretty Scrumdiddlyumptious too....
Happy Friday everyone!!

Junking Makeover: Cane Parlour Chair
I thought I would show you a quick makeover I did on my parlour chair. I found it at our local shop for $65. It was covered with yucky tan vinyl but was old and in great shape. Under the white paint is the original tortoiseshell cane, a little has been stripped off, but I left the rest as is.
I removed the original trim around the heart and reused it to finish the new back. I used a plain white doiley underneath and the bell shaped crinoline lady on top. As a quick fix, I simply placed a cushion cover over the seat.
It is currently in our granny flat, you can see the green painted concrete floor underneath the chair (inspired by Sandy @ Paint Me White). I will show you the granny flat makeover soon.
Have a good one, Tamara
p.s. don't forget to enter my giveaway...entries close 31st August Aussie time :)

Pebbly Beach
On the way back from the Milton Swap Meet, we took the kids to Pebbly Beach. It is really amazing there. The kangaroos and parrots (King parrots and Crimson Rosellas) are super friendly and live on the beach.
In the rock pools:
Natural heart shaped rock and pool, you couldn't make something more perfect if you tried :)
Hope you are having a wonderful weekend:)

Razmataz Photo Challenge: Pink
Each Friday Chania @ Razmataz will blog a word or theme with a McLinky link. The challenge is to post a photo that encompasses the weekly theme. This weeks word is Pink.
I personally love the colour pink. I took a photo of my powder puff which is the perfect pale pink, soft and feminine.
