Following along a similar theme to my crinoline ladies, I also collect half dolls. I particularly like the composition ladies at the top. They are hard to find in Australia, and when you do they can be quite expensive. I only have a few, but I am more than happy with the ones I have :)
Hope you are enjoying your weekend. We have spent the afternoon setting up our new computer, our other one died on Thursday just as I had purchased a quilt on ebay and I hadn't made arrangements for payment yet...wouldn't you figure! I was also awaiting an email regarding some accommodation we are sorting out for our UK trip.....it has been a long 2 days believe me.
Its good to be up and running again...I phoned Mr T at work when it happened, he has been harping on about a new computer for yonks, but I didn't think we needed one just yet...anyway he wanted to put me on speaker phone so that he had witnesses to me saying that we need to buy a new one...he made me repeat it 3 times...ha ha
Ahh these are lovely, whenever we get them i think to myself, why don't I collect these. They are so cute and look so lovely sewn into tea cosies etc, glad you got the computer hassles sorted, cheers Katherine

ReplyDelete@theoldboathouse Hi Katherine, it seems everything is falling apart here, my oven still needs the element replaced, the kids dvd tray in their TV won't open, the computer died and the PS3 was having problems..hopefully all will be sorted soon.

I REMEMBER WHEN MY BROTHER BOUGHT HIS FIRST COMPUTER AND IT COST HIM 3 TIMES MORE THAN TODAYS PRICES!
ALTHOUGH WHEN THERE`S ALL TE OTHER BILLS TO PAY AS WELL... IT CAN BE A REAL PAIN!
