I discovered this victorian oil painting in a second hand shop 12 years ago. It was without a frame and in a pile of old pictures. I asked the shop owner the price, to my amazement he said $6! I paid him quicker than you could blink your eye.
I love the little dragonflies.
Wishing you all a fab weekend.

I will trade you a plate for that gorgeous painting, Tamara!! LOL!

Oh Tamara it's GORGEOUS....PERFECTLY decayed & worn....I have 6 x Victorian paintings (mostly roses) & they all show signs of wear....I ADORE each tear & TREASURE the way the paint has peeled off in places....Do you wonder about the person who painted your piece....?? I've woven incredible stories about my Sunday painters....!!
ReplyDeleteHave a WONDERFUL weekend Lovey....!
Cheers,
Tamarah :o)
